Take the Chevy and Check Out These 2 Ice Cream Places Near Crivitz, WI

Try some delicious ice cream today! We're a small town here in Crivitz, WI, and that's the way we like to live. But once in a while, you just need some great ice cream. You know where to go to get some fast-food cones, so we'd like to suggest a couple of places that it's worth loading the family into the Chevy Tahoe to go visit for quality frozen treats. If you're not interested in fast food, and the Kwik Trip doesn't have the flavor you want, try these spots for a special treat. more Corner Scoop Creamery You will find this delicious spot at 550 business 141 N. in Coleman, WI, south of us on 141. They open at 7 AM every day except Saturday, when they open at 8 AM, and Sunday, when they don't open until 11 AM. They close every day at 6:30 PM. However, do bear in mind that they are a locally owned, small-town business. Their hours may fluctuate depending on factors outside their control, so if you want to make the trip, give them a call at 920-897-1005 to make sure they are open. Their premium hard scoop is really good and comes in baby, small, medium, large, or in a waffle cone. They also do great shakes and malts, and the fresh raspberry may be our favorite, though the fresh strawberry is great, too. Get a sundae if you want our opinion, though, and these come in small, medium, and large. The hot caramel apple is very good, but the hot fudge is also a classic. They do a great root beer float, too. Station The Corner Scoop Creamery is south of us, and the Station is north. They are at 315 Main St. in Wasaukee, WI and open every day from 11 AM until 9 PM. They have great prices to go with their large portions, an endless variety of toppings to add to your creation, and great service that makes you feel wanted and appreciated. They do parfaits, turtles, banana splits, sundaes, shakes, malts, slushes, sodas, soda floats, and more. One of our favorites is their butterscotch shake, but the marshmallow shake is also an interesting take on the classic. They do a variety of soft serve cones, and the kids will love the vanilla soft serve with a flavored trim ripple. They also have Drumsticks, do flurries of all kinds, and have some great burgers if you're feeling hungry. These are both great places to go when you need a road trip for a great frozen treat. A Driver's Guide to the 2022 Chevy Colorado

The 2022 Chevy Colorado is a midsize pickup truck that's been designed and engineered to be one of the most capable trucks on the market. It also offers many features and technologies that make it easy for you to get the maximum out of your vehicle. more A Driver's Guide to the 2022 Chevy Colorado Performance The 2022 Chevy Colorado is a midsize pickup truck with a serious work ethic. It's got a host of features that help it stand out among its competitors, including an array of engine choices. The standard engine is a 2.5-L four-cylinder with 200 HP, but you can opt for the 3.6-L V-6 with 308 HP or the 2.8-L DURAMAX diesel that delivers 181 HP. The diesel engine produces 369 pound-feet of torque and allows you to tow up to 7,700 pounds, making it a great choice if you need a truck that can handle heavy loads. Towing and Payload The base engine has a towing capacity of 3500 pounds while the 3.6-liter gas engine can tow up to 7,000. In order to increase the towing capacity, you'll need to add on the Trailering Package. The trailer sway control feature installed on the Colorado makes it easier to tow heavy loads without fear of losing control. Trailer sway control uses sensors to monitor the truck's movement, then adjusts the air pressure in each tire to help keep it on course. The Colorado also has a hill start assist feature that prevents you from rolling backward while starting up a steep incline. This is especially useful when pulling a heavy load. ZR2 The Chevy Colorado ZR2 is designed for off-roading. It's got a higher suspension and wider front/rear tracks than lower trim levels, plus class-exclusive front and rear electronic locking differentials. The standard trailering package makes it easy to tow your favorite toys, and the off-road suspension features make it easy to take them for a spin. And if you're looking for something that can handle the rough stuff without sacrificing comfort, this is the truck for you. The ZR2 can handle daily driving and rock climbing without sacrificing comfort. There's optional heated seating and an available heated steering wheel. Trim Levels It comes in four models: the standard Colorado WT, the LT, the off-road capable Z71, and the high-performance Colorado ZR2. The standard Colorado has a spacious cabin, a large console bin, generous under-seat storage, and two cargo bed sizes. The bed is available in 61.70 and 74 inches. The Z71 has a bigger engine and some off-road features, like an off-road suspension package. The Z71 also adds automatic locking differential, hill descent control, projector-beam headlamps, and increased ground clearance. The ZR2 is similar to the Z71 but with bold styling, skid plates, higher ground clearance, better handling, and other features that make it great for off-roading on any terrain. The 2022 Colorado is a workhorse that can do it all. It's a day-to-day truck, an outdoor enthusiast truck, and a workhorse that will perform any task you ask of it. 3 Essential Services You'll Always Find at Your Crivitz Chevy Dealership

Image by Jens from Pixabay Your Chevy dealership in Crivitz, WI, has a huge variety of services available. We can provide all types of service or repair to your Chevy. These are some of the essential services we here at Tim Witt Chevrolet have available to keep your Chevy in perfect condition. more Transmission Services The transmission in your Chevy keeps your car moving. It converts the power of your engine into controlled energy that enables your car to move. The transmission has an enormous number of parts, all of which must work correctly. A transmission service involves checking the transmission pan and gasket, examining and replacing the transmission fluid, cleaning the transmission, and replacing the transmission filter. Old transmission fluid becomes less effective at cooling your transmission and providing the hydraulic power for your gears. The transmission pan provides storage and cooling for the transmission fluid, and the gasket provides a perfect seal to prevent fluid leaks. The filter in the transmission captures dirt and other debris, preventing it from damaging the transmission components. Our technicians will also check for any signs of wear or damage. Alternator Repair The alternator generates the electrical power for your car's systems. Over time, the alternator can suffer worn parts or damage. Worn alternator bearings, for example, will make clunking sounds and lead to further damage to the alternator. Some problems can be fixed simply by replacing the damaged component. An alternator will also age, and an older alternator won't be able to produce the electrical power it once did. This problem occurs gradually but will get worse over time. Eventually, the alternator won't be able to provide all the power your car's systems demand. When this happens, you'll experience random electrical faults and shutdowns. Our technicians can repair or replace your alternator depending on the particular problem. Tire Rotation Your tires suffer continual wear as your drive due to contact with the surface. Tires suffer wear to different sections depending on the position of the tire and the type of transmission on your car. FWD cars, for example, will create more wear on the front tires. The additional wear is caused by the extra weight of the transmission in the front of your car. To increase your tire lifespan, we can rotate your tires. This process involves moving tires from positions of greater wear to positions of lesser wear. The process evens out the wear patterns in your tires. We shift the front tires to the rear and the rear tires to the front. We will also change some or all of the tires between eh left and right sides of your car. We have numerous other services available. Call our service department at Tim Witt Chevrolet.

We've rounded up a few hiking trails near us here in Crivitz, WI, and we think you'll love exploring them. Come with us on an adventure! more Five Favorite Hiking Trails in Driving Distance of Crivitz, WI Flowage and Thunder Mountain Look This moderately difficult trail is in the Governor Thompson State Park and is 2.5 miles long. It's a loop trail that takes most people about 50 minutes to complete, and dogs are allowed on leash. You'll pass through forest and wildflower meadows, see plenty of birds, and can stop to see the amazing view of Big Buck Canyon along the way. Snowshoeing is possible (and popular) here during the winter, but be aware that in summer the ticks can be very bad. Be sure to bring spray and tuck your socks into your shoes. Lake Noquebay Sedge Meadow This is an official state wildlife area on the east side of Lake Noquebay, and it is a very diverse area of forest and fen with gorgeous sedge, alpine grasses and flowers, white cedars, and lots more. Expect to see lots of birds here. There are two parking areas on the east side, furthest from the lake, and there are trails and snowmobiling tracks everywhere. Most of the trails here are quite easy, and it's a peaceful and relaxing place to hang out for a day. Menominee River State Park and Recreation Area This spot is nearly 8,000 acres that straddle Michigan and Wisconsin and features lots of undeveloped land with challenging trails as well as opportunities for canoeing, camping, and other recreation. Try the Pemene Falls hiking trail and the Sand Portage trail near the Piers Gorge Unit, which we describe below. Both of these are well marked and maintained: but there are lots of other trails that are not maintained, and you can find them with a bit of exploration and an adventurous spirit. Pemene Falls Get to this trail from the parking lot off Verheyen Lane, right off County Road Z. This is not a paved trail, and though it's mostly level, it does have some very steep slopes and some rocky bits. You can do a short loop of less than a mile, a longer loop of nearly two miles, or just go up to the falls overlook, which is a half a mile. Sand Portage This trail is open and goes through woods. There are some moderate slopes, but nothing too challenging, and it's kept mowed. Reach it from the parking lot off Highway 141, east of Knuston Rd. There are beautiful views of the falls here. There's no better vehicle than a rugged Chevy to take you and your family on a great hiking adventure. To find the right one for you, come see us at Tim Witt Chevrolet.
