We’re a small town here in Crivitz, WI, and that’s the way we like to live. But once in a while, you just need some great ice cream. You know where to go to get some fast-food cones, so we’d like to suggest a couple of places that it’s worth loading the family into the Chevy Tahoe to go visit for quality frozen treats. If you’re not interested in fast food, and the Kwik Trip doesn’t have the flavor you want, try these spots for a special treat.
Corner Scoop Creamery
You will find this delicious spot at 550 business 141 N. in Coleman, WI, south of us on 141. They open at 7 AM every day except Saturday, when they open at 8 AM, and Sunday, when they don’t open until 11 AM. They close every day at 6:30 PM. However, do bear in mind that they are a locally owned, small-town business. Their hours may fluctuate depending on factors outside their control, so if you want to make the trip, give them a call at 920-897-1005 to make sure they are open.
Their premium hard scoop is really good and comes in baby, small, medium, large, or in a waffle cone. They also do great shakes and malts, and the fresh raspberry may be our favorite, though the fresh strawberry is great, too. Get a sundae if you want our opinion, though, and these come in small, medium, and large. The hot caramel apple is very good, but the hot fudge is also a classic. They do a great root beer float, too.
Station
The Corner Scoop Creamery is south of us, and the Station is north. They are at 315 Main St. in Wasaukee, WI and open every day from 11 AM until 9 PM. They have great prices to go with their large portions, an endless variety of toppings to add to your creation, and great service that makes you feel wanted and appreciated.
They do parfaits, turtles, banana splits, sundaes, shakes, malts, slushes, sodas, soda floats, and more. One of our favorites is their butterscotch shake, but the marshmallow shake is also an interesting take on the classic. They do a variety of soft serve cones, and the kids will love the vanilla soft serve with a flavored trim ripple. They also have Drumsticks, do flurries of all kinds, and have some great burgers if you’re feeling hungry.
These are both great places to go when you need a road trip for a great frozen treat. To keep your Chevy running right for all your dessert adventures, come see us at Tim Witt Chevrolet.
