2023 Chevrolet Tahoe

The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe comes in six trim levels: the handsomely equipped LS, the comfort-focused LT, the eye-catching RST, the all-terrain Z71, the sophisticated Premier, and the top-of-line High Country. There is also a range of wheel options from 18- to 22-inches, which come in painted, polished, or machined aluminum. All trim levels feature black assist steps, body-color door handles and mirror caps, heated side mirrors, deep-tinted glass, Rainsense automatic wipers, LED daytime running lamps, headlamps, and taillamps. A power, programmable, and hands-free liftgate is standard on trim levels LT and higher.

There's never been a year that the standard Tahoe didn't have a V-8 under its hood, and 2023 is no different. Still, Chevrolet has added the option to swap out the traditional V-8 for a 3.0-liter Duramax turbo diesel engine on any Tahoe trim level. The Duramax offers plenty of pull and fewer ponies, with 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Should you opt for the Tahoe's long-favored engine, you'll have the choice between a 5.3-liter EcoTec V-8 with dynamic fuel management, which is standard on all trims except the High Country. This engine is capable of producing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. When you choose the highest trim, you'll get the larger 6.2-liter EcoTec V-8, or opt for it on the RST, Z71, or Premier trims. The most powerful of the engine options, the 6.2-liter achieves 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque when it's tested.

Any manufacturer can drop a powerful engine under the hood of their vehicles, but Chevrolet outshines the rest when it comes to combining power and performance. Considering its size, the 2023 Tahoe offers a surprisingly nimble-footed and quiet driving experience. For a driving experience that feels more like floating than rolling over rough roads, you can upgrade to Chevy's first-in-class Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension on the Z71 and High Country models. The brainiest of suspension technologies, Air Ride automatically adjusts the suspension to match road conditions and provide the most comfortable ride experience.

The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe boasts an incredibly spacious interior with room for seven to eight occupants to sit comfortably even when they're in the back row. Upholstery options include soft premium cloth and leather-appointed and perforated-leather seating. Entertainment and technology features are also abundant, and every 2023 Tahoe comes standard with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system loaded onto an 8- or 10.2-inch color touchscreen. The High Country trim also features a 15-inch Head-Up Display. A Bose 9- or 10-speaker sound system is standard on trim levels LT or higher.

Chevrolet offers a suite of driver assistance safety features with their Chevy Safety Assist system. It includes automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision alert, IntelliBeam auto high beams, and a following distance indicator.
