2023 Chevrolet Silverado HD

The new Silverado HD has five distinct trim levels that have their own unique exterior features. With the WT trim, the Silverado is equipped with a trailer hitch with a seven-pin connector, bumper corner steps, and integrated bed steps right from the beginning. Upgrading to the Custom grants 20-inch machined aluminum wheels and power-adjustable trailering mirrors.

At the LT trim level, the Silverado HD gets an EZ Lift tailgate and chrome bumpers. The LTZ pushes it a bit further with a side bed step, heated adjustable trailering mirrors, and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels. The ultimate trim, the High Country, includes a power-sliding rear window, four movable cargo bed tie-downs, and a power up/down tailgate.

Under the hood of the Silverado HD, you'll find two different engine options. The first is a 6.6-liter V-8 with 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. The other option is a 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V-8 with 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Both come paired with an automatic transmission, but the standard setup has six speeds while the diesel comes with 10 speeds.

If you're looking for capability in your truck's performance, you won't have to look past the Silverado HD. This massive truck can tow up to 36,000 pounds with the 3500 HD, but even the 2500 HD can still manage a maximum towing capacity of 18,510 pounds. The 3500's capacity is the highest in its class, and you can seize all that performance for yourself by properly outfitting your truck after opting for the diesel engine.

The Silverado's interior has much to offer including cubby space that's perfect for storing extra items and gear. Additional cubbies are available under the rear seats and in the seat backs. The integrated technology is quite impressive too, as the Silverado HD is equipped with the Chevy Infotainment 3 system. This comes complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but you'll also find Wi-Fi hotspot capability. It even lets you wirelessly charge your phone.
