2022 Chevrolet Blazer

For the 2022 model year, you can choose from four trim levels: the 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. In addition, you can also opt for a special-edition model, such as the Sport Edition and Redline Edition.

The base trim is well decked out with 18-inch aluminum wheels, power-adjustable and heated side mirrors, deep-tinted glass, and HID headlights. A power-programmable liftgate and auto-dimming side mirrors with turn-signal indicators are added with the 3LT trim. With the sporty RS trim, you can expect unique 20-inch wheels, a heavy-duty cooling system, and a hands-free gesture liftgate. Finally, the range-topping Premier trim features a dual exhaust with bright rectangular tips and a distinctive chrome horizontal grille.

The wide range of attractive exterior colors offered with the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer includes Cherry Red Tintcoat, Blue Glow Metallic, Cayenne Orange Metallic, and Red Hot.

Since Chevy dropped the previously standard engine for the new model year, the former available turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine has taken its place. It delivers an output of 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. An optional 3.6-liter V-6 engine provides a more powerful output of 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive system. An all-wheel-drive system is available with both engines.

The Blazer offers a comfortable and confident ride. Apart from accurate and nicely weighted steering, the SUV provides lively handling and a suspension system that smooths out the bumps on the road. The Blazer is also powerful enough to deliver a respectable towing capacity of up to 4,500 pounds. What's more, you receive a fuel-efficient ride. When paired with the front-wheel-drive system, the standard engine delivers 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

The Blazer's interior is stylish and fitted with comfortable seats, especially for front passengers. You also receive a respectably sized cargo area of 30.5 cubic feet, which can extend to a maximum cargo area of 64.2 cubic feet. Besides its ease of use, the standard 8-inch infotainment is well-equipped. Standard features include six speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a Wi-Fi hot spot, USB ports, Amazon Alexa, and SiriusXM.

The base trim is fitted with premium cloth upholstery and a power-adjustable driver's seat. Various upgraded features are added with the higher trims. Depending on the trim, your Blazer may feature heated and ventilated seats, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and/or an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

All Blazer models come standard with the Chevy Safety Assist safety suite, which consists of a wide range of advanced safety features. These include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, front-pedestrian braking, and a following distance indicator. For an even safer drive, opt for available systems such as blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control.
