Road with orange leaves on it surrounded by trees

When the air turns crispy and the leaves change color, it’s time to grab a warm sweater and go on a fall adventure in a Chevrolet Equinox, Malibu, or Silverado. Head outdoors to celebrate the harvest season by joining all the fall activities in and around Crivitz, WI, and have plenty of fun with your family and friends.

1. The Crivitz Fall Harvest Festival

Every year at the end of September, Crivitz hosts the exciting Fall Harvest Festival at Crivitz High School at 400 South Avenue. There is plenty of entertainment, live music, a craft show, a bake sale, and over 60 vendors selling arts and crafts, and delicious home-baked fair. Join the fun and fill your tummy with mouthwatering, flavorful fall foods.

2. Sharkey’s Orchard

One mile north of Crivitz on Highway 141, you can pick apples in an orchard with nearly 800 apple trees. There is a wide variety, from Honeycrisp, Snappy Mac, and Zestar to Sweet Sixteen, Red Cortland, and  Snowsweet. The orchard is open during the apple harvest time, and everyone is welcome to find the best juicy apples on the trees.

3. Freak Farm Haunted Hayrides

Climb on the tractor-drawn wagon for a heart-pounding haunted hayride through the Freak Farm woods 4 miles east of Crivitz. The haunted hayrides begin at the Freak Farm Barn, cut through the fields, and wind through the woods where all kinds of hideous creatures, some dead, others alive, are lurking in the shadows, just waiting to scare the living daylights out of you.

The Freak Farm Haunted Hayrides are between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and start at the beginning of October and end on November 1.

4. Gazelle’s Corny Acres

Head ten miles down the road to Gazelle’s Corny Acres at W7826 Nejedlo Road in Wausaukee for daytime fall fun and excitement in September and October. Hunt for the best pumpkin in the patch, find your way through the corn maze by solving the CornMaze Quiz, and stay until after dark and try not to get lost in the scary Haunted Maze.
